Terms and conditions (Trip to Nepal)

When planning a trip to Nepal with Soham Adventure, it is important to understand the booking and payment policies to ensure a smooth experience. Here are the key details regarding deposits, payments, and cancellation policies:

Deposit and Payment Structure: 
To secure your booking for a trip to Nepal, a deposit of 25% of the total trip cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance can be settled in one of two ways: either by paying the full amount 7 days before your scheduled departure or by making the payment upon your arrival at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Last-Minute Bookings: 
If you are considering a last-minute booking for your Nepal trip, please note that a minimum notice of 3 days is required. In such cases, full payment for the trip must be made at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.

Required Documentation for Bookings: 
To facilitate last-minute/normal bookings, you will need to provide several essential documents. These include:

  • A confirmed flight ticket to Nepal
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs
  • A copy of your passport
  • A confirmed trip itinerary detailing your planned activities and accommodations

Non-Refundable Deposit: 
It is important to be aware that the 25% deposit made for trip bookings is non-refundable. This means that once the deposit is paid, it cannot be returned, regardless of any changes to your travel plans.

Cancellation Policy: 
Should you need to cancel your trip, please be informed of the following cancellation charges:

  • If you cancel your booking 90 days or more before the trip, a charge of 25% of the total trip cost will apply.
  • If you cancel between 60 and 89 days prior to the trip, the cancellation charge increases to 50%.
  • For cancellations made 30 days or less before the trip, a full charge of 100% of the total trip cost will be incurred.

Understanding these policies will help you navigate the booking process for your Nepal trip more effectively and ensure that you are prepared for any eventualities.

Payment Options:
Soham Adventure offers various payment methods for customer convenience. We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) with a 4% processing fee. 

Online Payments (in distance, through bank to bank): You can conveniently make payments online through our agency account. Please use the following account details for transactions:

Note: Any transactions made will be deposited into our bank account for the booking amount from clients. Following this, you will receive a receipt voucher sent directly to your e-mail.

We also accept cash in multiple currencies, including Euros (EUR), US Dollars (USD), British Pounds (GBP), Australian Dollars (AUD), Canadian Dollars (CAD), and Swiss Francs (CHF), allowing international clients to pay in their preferred currency. 

All trip costs are quoted in US dollars (USD) for clarity. Please consider exchange rates and potential fees when converting local currency.
