Annapurna Base Camp via Ghorepani-Poon Hill – 14 days

14 Days

The Annapurna Base Camp (via Ghorepani, Poon Hill) Trek is widely regarded as one of the most renowned trekking routes in the world. Mount Annapurna, which rises to an elevation of 8,091 meters, is the tenth highest mountain globally. The Annapurna region is situated at the base of Mount Annapurna in central-northern Nepal, extending from the Kali Gandaki valley in the west to the Marshyangdi river in the east, including the Lamjung Himal. This invigorating trek to Annapurna Base Camp traverses through picturesque waterfalls, charming villages, agricultural lands, rhododendron forests, and breathtaking mountain landscapes. Like other treks in the Annapurna region, it begins in the lakeside city of Pokhara at a modest altitude of approximately 800 meters, ascending to over 4,000 meters while ensuring a gradual acclimatization process. Along the way, trekkers experience a rich diversity of terrain and culture, surrounded by stunning greenery.

Throughout this trekking adventure, participants can fully appreciate the magnificent beauty of the Himalayas, including two peaks that exceed 8,000 meters: Mount Annapurna (8,091 m) and Mount Dhaulagiri (8,167 m). The warmth and vibrant culture of the local communities, combined with the splendor of nature, create an unforgettable experience. One can only imagine being in the presence of some of the tallest mountains on Earth and witnessing the breathtaking sunrise over the snow-capped Himalayas. Truly remarkable!
