The Naar Phu Valley and Thorung La Pass Trek is perfectly suited for adventurous individuals who have the flexibility in their itineraries and a keen interest in discovering the less-traveled, remote areas of Nepal that lie beyond the typical trekking paths. This lodge-based trekking journey offers stunning vistas of the newly accessible Nar and Phu valleys, located just north of the renowned Annapurna circuit trail.
The landscape of the Nar Phu valley is characterized by its Trans-Himalayan features, closely resembling the terrain of Tibet. The trails here are rugged and have remained largely unchanged over the years. We allocate several days to explore this hidden valley, including a crossing of the Kang La Pass (5300m) on our way to Manang. A highlight of the trek is theMuktinath Temple, a sacred site revered by both Hindus and Buddhists, which embodies thespiritual harmony among the local communities. Along the way, trekkers will encounter
various monasteries in Kagbeni and other locations. For those seeking adventure, navigatingthese challenging landscapes and tackling one of the most demanding regions in the world isan exhilarating pursuit. If you are ready to embrace the excitement, the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Thorung La Pass awaits you.
